Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC (RCCB) announced today that it has named Dustin Covello as Associate and Tax Counsel. Dustin’s hire enhances RCCB’s ability to advise on tax aspects of business transactions for its emerging growth and middlemarket clients. Dustin will also counsel clients in cross-border expansions, acquisitions, dispositions and restructurings, as well as tax controversy matters.
“We are excited to welcome Dustin to our firm,” said Roger Braunfeld, Partner. “His specialization in business transactions, cross-border expansions and tax controversy matters makes him a valuable member of our team as RCCB continues to grow and expand.”

His previous experience includes advising on tax aspects of a wide variety of business transactions, including structuring new operations and acquisitions for foreign technology and manufacturing companies entering the U.S. market and U.S. businesses expanding abroad. He has also successfully resolved IRS tax controversies for these businesses and entrepreneurs, advising them in IRS audits and representing them in tax-related litigation. He is also an active member of the American Bar Association Tax Section.
“I’m thrilled to be joining RCCB and its team of creative, dedicated professionals,” said Covello. “I look forward to working alongside the team and lending my skills and expertise to this dynamic, growth-oriented firm.”
