Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC Welcomes Melissa Paszamant
Paszamant's Experience Greatly Expands the Wealth and Estate Planning Group
Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC (RCCB) announced today Melissa B. Paszamant has joined the firm as Counsel. She will primarily be based in the firm’s new Philadelphia office led by Partner Neil Cooper.
Paszamant’s practice is focused on providing sophisticated estate and tax planning advice to individuals and families to help them achieve their wealth preservation and wealth transfer goals in a tax-efficient manner.
In addition to counseling clients regarding lifetime estate planning, Paszamant assists them with all aspects of trust and estate administration. This spans from the establishment of wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney and living wills to closely-held business succession planning and other wealth transfer tax planning (including family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, life insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, charitable trusts, gifts and private foundations).
“We are very excited to welcome Melissa to the firm,” said David Kovsky, Partner at RCCB. “Melissa is a highly skilled and experienced estate planner for U.S and international individuals and families. She will make a great addition to the Wealth and Estate Planning group at RCCB.”
Prior to joining RCCB, Paszamant advised individuals and families on a wide range of US and international tax and estate planning matters at a boutique law firm in Philadelphia. She began her career in the trusts and estates department of Wolf Block, LLP and later joined Heckscher, Teillon, Terrill and Sager, P.C., both in Pennsylvania.
“I am excited to join RCCB and be a part of such a dynamic and fast-growing firm,” said Paszamant. “I look forward to using my estate planning experience to help the firm expand and enhance its already established wealth and estate planning services to new and existing clients.”
Paszamant earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1996 and her B.A. (Politics) from Brandeis University in 1993. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
