Biography

Andrea M. Smith concentrates her practice on representing clients in a variety of complex general commercial litigation matters, including real estate, insurance, intellectual property, unfair competition, and restrictive covenant disputes. She also advises clients on business disputes involving breach of contract, tortious interference, commercial collections, and risk avoidance.

Andrea clerked for the Honorable John R. Padova of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Charles A. Ehrlich of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, the Honorable Lynne A. Sitarski of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Honorable Chad F. Kenney through Temple’s Federal Judicial Clerkship Program.

  •  I grew up in Philadelphia and have the accent to prove it!  
  •  Before joining RCCB, I worked at a midsized, Philadelphia-based firm for several years. 
  •  I'm a proud Temple Night Owl. I worked for the Philadelphia Municipal Court for eight years while attending school in the evening. 
  • As a first-generation lawyer, I am extremely grateful for the privilege of helping clients navigate stressful, unfamiliar situations.  

WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUELY ME

  •  I'm an avid true crime fan. 
  •  I listen to several podcasts, particularly anything relating to early aughts nostalgia.  
  •  I enjoy walking to the Philadelphia office every morning.
