The Coaching to Capital Program connects cohort members to capital providers, furnishing intense training and support on business operations and pairing cohort members with coaches to guide them through the process. Lack of access to capital has been a historical issue for African American business owners and the effect of disproportionate access was exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Tarik Brooks thanks program partners PIDC, NewSpring, WSFS Bank, Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC (RCCB), Community College of Philadelphia, United Bank of Philadelphia, Myonex and others for supporting this initiative.
