Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC (RCCB), a law firm offering a distinctive combination of practical business acumen, legal experience and entrepreneurial passion, is honored to announce that Partner Marc Skapof will serve as the 2021 Turnaround Management Association (TMA) NYC Chapter President. His term began on January 1, 2021, after he served as President-elect in 2020.

Marc is a partner in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group at RCCB. He focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy, in- and out-of-court restructurings, debtor representations, creditors' rights, fiduciary representations, debt financing, distressed debt, lending, DIP and exit financing, bankruptcy litigation, distressed M&A, corporate governance, and bankruptcy-remote transactions. He is admitted to practice in New York, Illinois, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of New York and the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Marc's TMA involvement includes leadership roles at the chapter level as the 2020 President-elect, Vice President of Programming from 2017-2020, and Director since 2016. Marc has participated in numerous CLE programs discussing cutting edge issues in bankruptcy law and distressed investing. He has been named a top Bankruptcy lawyer by New York Super Lawyers every year since 2014.
