RCCB Elevates Two Prominent Attorneys to Equity Partnership

Matthew Faranda-Diedrich and David Gitlin Enhance Firm Leadership

Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC (RCCB), a law firm offering a distinctive combination of practical business acumen, legal expertise and entrepreneurial passion, today announced the election of David Gitlin and Matthew Faranda-Diedrich to Equity Partners. Matthew resides in the firm’s Philadelphia office, and David is in the Conshohocken office.

David Gitlin is an attorney in RCCB’s Corporate & Business and International Groups, with more than thirty-eight years of law firm experience. Gitlin has been ranked by Chambers and Partners as a leading M&A lawyer in Pennsylvania for the past 12 years, has also been ranked as a top venture capital attorney, and has been recognized as one of Philadelphia’s leading start-up attorneys. David has represented clients in over 250 M&A deals in 18 countries, including many exits. He has vast experience counseling foreign companies doing business in the United States and U.S. clients doing business overseas. David also has handled many dozens of angel and venture financings. He is on the board of the Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, where he previously served as President.

Matthew Faranda-Diedrich practices in RCCB’s Litigation and Corporate & Business Groups. Matthew has been recognized by the Legal Intelligencer as a “Lawyer on the Fast Track,” the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Forty Under 40, and has been named a “Rising Star” consecutively since 2012 by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine.

He counsels a broad base of clients, from individuals, start-ups and early-stage ventures, to national and multinational Fortune 500 companies, in a wide variety of matters, including litigation strategy, corporate advice, insurance coverage and transactional guidance. Matthew has deep expertise in banking and financial services, where he regularly serves as a trusted advisor and general counsel to C-suite level executives, EVPs, SVPs and other offices, as well as boards of directors in a wide variety of transactional, corporate, risk, compliance, litigation and employment matters.
