Biography

Alex Seldin focuses his practice on business and commercial matters, private equity and venture capital investments, debt and equity financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, as well as the provision of general business and corporate counseling. Fund formation and related activities have evolved into a significant and progressively expanding aspect of his practice. He has represented sponsors, investors, and external managers in relation to hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate equity funds, sustainable agriculture funds, and joint ventures. In his previous role as the General Counsel at Crown Global Life Insurance Group, Alex established investment funds across a range of asset classes structured as "insurance dedicated funds." Prior to that, he served as the General Counsel of Coventry First, contributing to the development of various life settlement fund structures. Alex has also been in-house counsel at both successful and unsuccessful technology companies and has practiced at national and international law firms.
