Biography
Annette DeSipio is a member of the Corporate & Business practice group, where she focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, corporate governance, and commercial transactions.
Annette began her career at RCCB as a summer law clerk in 2022. Prior to entering law school, Annette worked in legal administration and served as an investment professional at Vanguard. Her previous work in the investment industry has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the legal intricacies within businesses and investments. This background also equips her with proficiency in navigating the complexities of business operations and administration across various industries.

I WANT YOU TO KNOW
- Prior to attending law school, I worked at Vanguard as a brokerage specialist where I obtained Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, and later worked as a legal administrator in the Office of the General Counsel on the Intellectual Property team.
- In law school, I published two papers: Note, ERISA Fiduciary Duties and ESG Funds: Creating a Worthy Retirement Future, 15 Drexel Law Review 121 (2023); Sulyma and Its Aftermath: ERISA’s Fiduciary Statute of Limitations and the Meaning of Knowledge, 49 Journal of Pension Planning & Compliance 16 (2023).
- I received the 2022 Sidney M. Perlstadt Award by the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel for my paper, Sulyma and Its Aftermath: ERISA’s Fiduciary Statute of Limitations and the Meaning of Knowledge.
WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUELY ME
- I am a first-generation American in my mother’s family who immigrated to the United States from Poland.
- I grew up in Montgomery County, PA.
- I enjoy traveling around the U.S. and Europe.
- My hobbies include cooking, biking, and trying new restaurants in Philadelphia.
