Biography

Michelle G. Bounds is a member of the Employment and Litigation groups. She represents employers, institutional clients, and businesses in labor and employment matters, administrative proceedings, and general litigation. She represents clients in complex employment disputes at all stages of litigation and advises on proactive measures to minimize legal exposure and avoid future conflict.

Michelle has experience defending employers in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies. Her litigation practice encompasses claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She also represents employers in the enforcement of restrictive covenants and in trade secret and unfair competition litigation.

  • Before joining RCCB, I began my legal career at a Delaware law firm, where I practiced for six years in labor and employment, education, and general litigation.
  • Using my legal skills to give back to the community is very important to me, and I served as a pro bono Guardian ad Litem for the Delaware Office of the Child Advocate.
WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUELY ME   
  • Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, traveling, discovering new cuisines, and spending time with my husband, son, and our two rescue dogs.
