Biography
Erin Stottlemyer Gold is Counsel in the Corporate & Business Group. She advises clients on a wide range of commercial, technology, and corporate matters, with particular depth in SaaS-based businesses, data privacy and security, and complex contracting environments. Her practice includes drafting and negotiating commercial agreements across both public- and private-sector contexts, including SaaS and software licenses, data protection and security agreements, vendor and procurement contracts, commercial leases, and related transactional documentation.
Erin has substantial experience developing and implementing information security and data privacy programs aligned with recognized industry frameworks and applicable U.S. and international privacy regulations, including FERPA, COPPA, CCPA, GDPR, PCI, and related state and sector-specific requirements. She regularly advises on privacy governance, incident response planning, vendor risk management, and data handling and retention practices.
Her work also encompasses procurement and public-sector contracting, including responding to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, negotiating risk-appropriate contractual terms, and supporting successful bid and retention efforts. Erin advises on employment-related matters in collaboration with human resources teams, including workplace policies, employee handbooks, confidentiality and restrictive covenant agreements, and compliance considerations for multi-state workforces.
In addition, Erin counsels on accessibility compliance for digital platforms, intellectual property matters related to content licensing and copyright, and day-to-day legal and compliance issues affecting growing organizations. She is known for delivering clear, practical guidance that supports business objectives while managing legal and operational risk.

WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUELY ME
- I began life as an Air Force brat and moved around for many years, living in six states and nine cities before settling in and making the Philadelphia area my home. This background has made me flexible and adaptable as priorities shift and new solutions are required.
- Although I'm no longer moving house, my wanderlust persists--traveling the globe with my husband and three children is my favorite pastime and annual goal.
- When I'm hanging out at home, you'll find me supporting my kids and improving my 1980's fixer-upper. I also love to hike, read, play games, entertain, and cook with family and friends.
