Biography

Ken Martin focuses his practice in cross-border tax and estate planning as a member of the Private Client Services Group. He represents high-net-worth individuals, both US and non-US, in a wide array of matters involving cross-border income and transfer tax planning, estate planning and administration, and the taxation of foreign and domestic trusts. In particular, he advises clients on US income and transfer taxation for individuals with complex, multi-jurisdictional needs, helping them preserve and transfer wealth through sophisticated estate planning structures.

Ken regularly drafts a wide range of US estate planning documents, including irrevocable life insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, qualified domestic trusts, and directed trusts. He also prepares federal gift and estate tax returns and Pennsylvania inheritance tax returns for US and non-US estates.
