Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC (RCCB), a law firm offering a distinctive combination of practical business acumen, legal expertise and entrepreneurial passion, today announced the addition of attorneys Adam Grandwetter and Joshua Upin, each as Counsel. Before joining RCCB, both Grandwetter and Upin practiced at their own law firms, making them great fits for the entrepreneurial culture upon which RCCB has been built.

“Adam and Joshua were drawn to RCCB because of the firm’s entrepreneurial dynamism, as well as the innovative and collegial approach we take to serving our clients,” said Roger Braunfeld, Partner at RCCB. “Adam and Joshua have the perfect mix of large law firm experience and go-getter ambition, making them ideal additions to RCCB’s growing team of top legal talent.”

Grandwetter comes to RCCB after practicing at Main Line Estate Planning LLC, a firm he founded in 2011. He joined RCCB because of the firm’s collaborative work environment and ability to better serve his clients with a full complement of legal services. Before Main Line Estate Planning, Grandwetter began his law career at WolfBlock LLP and eventually transitioned to Cozen O’Connor P.C.

Grandwetter joins RCCB as a member of the firm’s Private Client Services Practice, focusing on family offices, financial institutions and trust companies, public and private companies, real estate owners and developers, and private equity and hedge funds. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and law degree from Villanova University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as editor of the Villanova Law Review. Grandwetter is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Upin joins RCCB after spending the last year and a half at Spector Gadon & Rosen P.C. For the six years prior to joining Spector he ran The King’s Serjeants (TKS) PLLC, a boutique law firm he founded that focused on real estate, commercial transactions and litigation.

After graduating law school in 2008, Upin began his legal career at Dewey & Leboeuf LLP in Los Angeles.  Upin was originally inspired to attend law school after co-founding Menlo Park Music at the age of twenty-one, a music production company that specializes in scoring arrangements for television, film and advertising.

Upin joins RCCB as a member of the Litigation Practice and will also contribute to the Corporate & Business and Real Estate Practices. His practice focuses on entertainment, insurance, medical equipment, healthcare and life sciences, and commercial and residential real estate development. Upin earned his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Temple University and law degrees from the London School of Economics, with honors, and the University of California Gould School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of PA and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
